Dense network, heavy load. South Moravian roads are under pressure. FUTTEC has a solution - FUTTEC a.s.

The South Moravian Region is one of the most important transport hubs in the Czech Republic. With an area of 7,196 km², it ranks 4th among the regions of the Czech Republic and, thanks to its dense road network, it connects important cities, industrial zones and wine regions. Class II and III roads form a key part of the regional transport infrastructure, but intensive traffic and adverse weather conditions lead to frequent potholes and damage to the road surface. FUTTEC brings innovative solutions for their quick and effective repair - in all weather conditions.

The importance of roads of the II. and III. classes in the South Moravian Region

Roads of the II. and III. classes form essential links between smaller towns and villages, and at the same time serve important industrial centres in the region. They are used not only by passenger and freight transport, but also by motorsport enthusiasts – the region is home to the Brno Automotodrom, test polygons and racing tracks, such as the Modřice Karting Track or the Mokrá-Horákov Karting Centrum.

Daily traffic in combination with variable temperatures leads to cracks, potholes and surface deformations. Repairs using conventional methods are demanding and often cannot be carried out in winter due to technological limitations. This is where FUTTEC’s microwave technology comes into play, allowing the repair of potholes even at low temperatures.

New: FF-9 microwave furnace for rent

The latest innovation from FUTTEC is a separate machine set with an FF-9 microwave furnace, which can be easily rented by interested parties. This compact technology is ideal for repairing

roads of the II. and III. classes, which will be appreciated not only by regions and cities, but also by smaller municipalities or individuals who want to repair e. g. their own driveway.

The rental option brings a revolutionary approach to road maintenance. Instead of complex planning and high costs for large repair projects, road managers or individuals can use the technology flexibly according to current needs. This means faster response to potholes and better maintenance of roads without unnecessary delays.

How does microwave technology work?

  1. Heating the damaged road surface – The microwave unit heats the asphalt mixture and surrounding material, allowing it to reconnect.
  2. Adding the mixture – An asphalt mixture developed by the technology company FUTTEC is added to the repair area, which, thanks to heating in a microwave furnace, connects smoothly with the original surface.
  3. Compaction and finishing – The repaired area is immediately accessible and provides a durable and high-quality solution.

Thanks to the fast process, the impact on traffic is minimized and repairs can be carried out throughout the year, including the winter months.
