Thanks to our innovative machine set, pothole repairs using microwave technology are now even faster and quieter
Nighttime road maintenance in the vicinity of cities and towns is often not permitted by hygienists due to excessive noise. The solution is to use our innovative FT-3 “microwave patcher” set, which is newly equipped with two furnaces for heating the asphalt mixture. Compared to its predecessor with one furnace, our set makes the work of its crew more efficient, which can repair potholes even faster. At the same time, it reduces noise, emissions and heat, to which not only the operator, but also the surroundings of the repaired road are exposed.
“We have already repaired more than 12,000 potholes on Czech roads. Thanks to this, we are constantly gaining new experience from the field, which helps us to meet the needs of our machine users and adapt to some of the stricter standards in Czech legislation. The result of the work of our developers is the innovative FT-3 ´microwave patcher´, which we have supplemented with a second microwave furnace and fine-tuned a number of technical details. The new set thus further increases the efficiency of repairs and shortens the time of work on the road and the associated traffic restrictions. At the same time, its acoustic emissions have been reduced, making it even better suited for night repairs than its previous version.
