What do the Monaco race track and Czech roads have in common? They confirm that prevention is better than subsequent repairs

The pothole that interrupted this year's Monaco Grand Prix showed that even the most famous racing circuits are not immune to road defects. A few centimeters of asphalt damage was enough to cause two drivers crashing and the race being interrupted for almost 40 minutes. The incident once again showed how important timely and high-quality road maintenance is – not only on race tracks, but also on ordinary roads, where it affects safety, traffic flow and the costs of subsequent repairs.
