FUTTEC in Euro.cz: How the Czech “microwave patcher” conquers the world

For more than 10 years, we have been developing a unique microwave technology for high-quality, fast and seamless repairs of potholes on asphalt roads. The way from the first prototype of the “microwave patcher” to today’s fourth generation of machines required more than 7 years of intensive development and investments in the order of tens of millions of crowns.

Today, our technology is used throughout the Czech Republic. In Prague, we have already repaired over 17,000 potholes and we have been increasingly developing our activities on foreign markets: from the Netherlands and Italy to Australia.

In an interview for Euro.cz, our Sales Director Ondřej Rušikvas explains how the “microwave patcher” came about, what obstacles we overcame during its development, how the Czech technology is gaining ground on foreign markets, and why our technology can work as a “mobile packaging plant”.
